When we first brought Toby home, we noticed that he seemed to always have a smile on his face with his cute little pink tongue sticking out. His smile was infectious.
Life is so much about attitude. I really believe that the more we smile, look for the positive in life and try to laugh, the better life will be in our mind. No matter what real-life stuff we experience, finding joys and meaning in life will balance out the negative experiences that tend to surface and take over our thoughts.
Toby was probably scared when he came home with us-complete strangers. His smile and attitude kept him calm and made it easier for him to get used to us.
